Doso was formed in January 2001 by Simon Humphrey and Daniel Smith. Simon started working in IT over 25 years ago for large multinational companies learning the IT trade. He covered many areas of IT including operations, support, research and development and training. In the early 1990’s PCs became affordable for small, medium and enterprise size businesses and Simon decided to apply his knowledge and experience in this field by working as an independent IT consultant.
In 2001 Simon took the natural step of forming DoSo in partnership with a like-minded entrepreneur, Daniel Smith. Since then DoSo has grown into the business you see today, serving a broad range of businesses across the UK. The founding principles of DoSo remain true today as the driving passion behind our operations. We passionately believe in providing jargon free expertise tailored to our clients industries and businesses. We work closely with all our clients to understand what they’re trying to do with computing and to enable them to utilise the most modern ways of working to improve their bottom lines and make and save them money.
